ಕರ್ತನು ರೋಷವುಳ್ಳಂಥ, ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಕೊಡುವಂಥ ದೇವರು; ಕರ್ತನು ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಕೊಡುವಂಥ ಉಗ್ರವುಳ್ಳಾತನು, ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ವೈರಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
God [is] jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and [is] furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth [wrath] for his enemies.
ಕರ್ತನು ಕೋಪಿಸುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧಾನ ಮಾಡುವವನಾದರೂ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ತಾದವನು; ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗದವರನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ನಿರ್ಮಲರೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸ ದವನು; ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಸುಳಿಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಂಟು; ಮೇಘಗಳು ಆತನ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಧೂಳೇ.
The LORD [is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked:] the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of his feet.
ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಒಣಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬಾಷಾನೂ ಕರ್ಮೆಲೂ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ, ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಹೂವು ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕರಗುತ್ತವೆ; ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಹೌದು, ಲೋಕವೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸು ವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವರು.
The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
ಆತನ ರೌದ್ರದ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಯಾರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು? ಆತನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಗೆ ಯಾರು ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು? ಆತನ ಉಗ್ರವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಸುರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ಬಂಡೆಗಳು ಆತನಿಂದ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
ಕರ್ತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡು ವವರನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲನು.
The LORD [is] good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
ಆದರೆ ಮೇರೆ ವಿಾರುವ ಪ್ರಳಯ ದಿಂದ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುವನು; ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಆತನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವದು.
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಏನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? ಆತನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಎರ ಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಏಳದು.
What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
ಅವರು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತ ರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಒಣಗಿದ ಕೊಳೆಯಂತೆ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು.
For while [they be] folden together [as] thorns, and while they are drunken [as] drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.
ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದುರಾ ಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸುವವನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
There is [one] come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.
ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಅವರು ಸುಖವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಹು ಮಂದಿ ಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಆತನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಹೀಗೆ ಕಡಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿ ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಕಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸೆನು.
Thus saith the LORD; Though [they be] quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.
ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಆತನ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.
ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವರು ಇನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡರು; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ವನ್ನೂ ಎರಕ ಹೊಯಿದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು; ನೀನು ತುಚ್ಛನಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವೆನು.ಇಗೋ, ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವವನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡು. ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗನು; ಅವನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, [that] no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
ಇಗೋ, ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವವನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡು. ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗನು; ಅವನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
