Psalm 120 in Kannada

1. 1

   ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು; ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

   A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

2. 2

   ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ತುಟಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮೋಸದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡಿಸು.

   Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.

3. 3

   ಸುಳ್ಳಿನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೇನು ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು? ಆತನು ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು?

   What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

   ಪರಾ ಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಹದವಾದ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಲಿ ಮರದ ಕೆಂಡಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.

   Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

   ಕೇದಾರಿನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಮೇಷೆಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ!

   Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, [that] I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

   ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿ ಸಾಕಾಯಿತು.ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಲು ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

   My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

7. 7

   ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಲು ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

   I [am for] peace: but when I speak, they [are] for war.
