ತರುವಾಯ ನೂತನಾಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ನೂತನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಮೊದ ಲಿನ ಆಕಾಶವೂ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಗತಿಸಿ ಹೋದವು; ಇನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರವಿರುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಹೊಸ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಯೋಹಾನನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು; ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಮದಲಿಂಗನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಲಂಕೃತಳಾದ ಮದಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯಂತೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಲೋಕದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದವು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು. ಅದು-ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರ ಗುಡಾರವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅದೆ; ಆತನು ಅವರೊಡನೆ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವನು, ಅವರು ಆತನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾಗಿರುವರು; ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವನು, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಅವರ ದೇವರಾಗಿ
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒರಸಿಬಿಡುವನು. ಇನ್ನು ಮರಣ ವಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ದುಃಖವಾಗಲಿ ಗೋಳಾಟವಾಗಲಿ ನೋವಾಗಲಿ ಇರುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
ಆಗ ಸಿಂಹಾಸ ನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾತನು--ಇಗೋ, ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೊಸದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆತನು ನನಗೆ--ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸತ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳು ನಂಬ ತಕ್ಕವುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿವೆ ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಬರೆ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ--ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು. ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಫಾವೂ ಓಮೆಗವೂ ಆದಿಯೂ ಅಂತ್ಯವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ದಾಹವುಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ಜೀವದ ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ನೀರನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
ಜಯಹೊಂದುವವನು ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವನು; ನಾನು ಅವನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವನು.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
ಆದರೆ ಭಯ ಗ್ರಸ್ಥರು, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರು, ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವರು, ಕೊಲೆಗಾರರು, ಜಾರರು, ಮಾಟಗಾರರು, ವಿಗ್ರಹಾ ರಾಧಕರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ಪಾಲು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಗಂಧಕಗಳು ಉರಿಯುವ ಕೆರೆಯೇ; ಅದು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮರಣವು ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
ಕಡೇ ಏಳು ಉಪದ್ರವಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಏಳು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿ ದೂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ--ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಾ, ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗ ತಕ್ಕ ಮದಲಗಿತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
ಅವನು ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಪರಲೋಕ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೆಂಬ ಆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವ ದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು.
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಇತ್ತು; ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅದು ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕಾಂತದಂತೆ ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗೋಡೆ ಇತ್ತು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು ಗಳಿದ್ದವು; ಆ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ದೂತರಿದ್ದರು; ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಬರೆ ದಿದ್ದವು.
And had a wall great and high, [and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು ಗಳು. ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.
On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಅಳತೆ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದನು.
And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಚಚ್ಚೌಕವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವು ಅದರ ಅಗಲದಷ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅಳತೆಯು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ನೂರು ಮೈಲಿ ಆಯಿತು. ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವೂ ಅಗಲವೂ ಎತ್ತರವೂ ಸಮವಾಗಿವೆ.
And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
ಅದರ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅದು ನೂರನಾಲ್ವತ್ತ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೊಳ ದಷ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಲೆಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೊಳ ಅಂದರೆ ದೂತನ ಮೊಳ.
And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits, [according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಡವು ಸೂರ್ಯ ಕಾಂತದಿಂದ ಆಗಿತ್ತು; ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಶುದ್ಧ ಗಾಜಿನಂತಿರುವ ಸೋಸಿದ ಭಂಗಾರವೇ.
And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಸಕಲವಿಧವಾದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕೃತವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಅಸ್ತಿ ವಾರವು ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತ, ಎರಡನೆಯದು ನೀಲಮಣಿ, ಮೂರನೆಯದು ಕೆಂಪು, ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯದು ಪಚ್ಚೆ.
And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation [was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
ಐದನೆಯದು ಗೋಮೇಧಿಕ. ಆರನೆಯದು ಮಾಣಿಕ್ಯ, ಏಳನೆಯದು ಪೀತರತ್ನ, ಎಂಟನೆಯದು ಬೆರುಲ್ಲ, ಒಂಭತ್ತನೆಯದು ಪುಷ್ಯರಾಗ, ಹತ್ತನೆಯದು ಗರುಡಪಚ್ಚೆ, ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯದು ಕೆಂಗಿತ್ತಳೆ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೆ ಯದು ನೀಲಸ್ಪಟಿಕ.
The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮುತ್ತುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಒಂದೊಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲು ಒಂದೊಂದು ಮುತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬೀದಿಯು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾದ ಗಾಜಿನಂತಿರುವ ಸೋಸಿದ ಬಂಗಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ರುವ ಕರ್ತನೂ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನೂ ಅದರ ಆಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನಾಗಲಿ ಚಂದ್ರನಾಗಲಿ ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಭಾವವೇ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು; ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನೇ ಅದರ ದೀಪ.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.
ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ಅದರ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವರು; ಭೂರಾಜರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಭವವನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತರುವರು.
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
ಅದರ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಅಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ವೈಭವ ವನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತರುವರು.ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡುವಂಥದ್ದು ಯಾವದೂ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಸುಳ್ಳಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಡಿಸುವವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನ ಜೀವಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೇರುವರು.
And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡುವಂಥದ್ದು ಯಾವದೂ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಸುಳ್ಳಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಡಿಸುವವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾದಾತನ ಜೀವಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೇರುವರು.
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
