20அவர்கள் அவரவர் தங்களுக்கு எதிர்ப்படுகிறவர்களை வெட்டினார்கள்; சீரியர் முறிந்தோடிப்போனார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலர் அவர்களைத் துரத்தினார்கள்; சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய பெனாதாத், குதிரையின்மேல் ஏறிச் சில குதிரைவீரரோடுங்கூடத்தப்பியோடிப்போனான்.
21இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா புறப்பட்டு, குதிரைகளையும் இரதங்களையும் முறிய அடித்து, சீரியரில் மகா சங்காரம் உண்டாக வெட்டினான்.
