4. 16நாங்கள் உமக்குத் தேவையான மரங்களையெல்லாம் லீபனோனிலே வெட்டி, அவைகளைத் தெப்பங்களாய்க் கட்டிக் கடல் வழியாய் யோப்பாமட்டும் கொண்டுவருவோம்; பிற்பாடு நீர் அவைகளை எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகலாம் என்று எழுதி அனுப்பினான்.
5. 17தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலுண்டான மறுஜாதியாரையெல்லாம் எண்ணித் தொகையிட்டதுபோல, சாலொமோனும் அவர்களை எண்ணினான்; அவர்கள் லட்சத்துஐம்பத்துமூவாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
