2. 2சவுலின் குமாரனுக்குப் படைத்தலைவரான இரண்டுபேர் இருந்தார்கள்; ஒருவனுக்குப் பேர் பானா, மற்றவனுக்குப் பேர் ரேகாப்; அவர்கள் பென்யமின் புத்திரரில் பேரோத்தியனாகிய ரிம்மோனின் குமாரர்கள். பேரோத்தும் பென்யமீனுக்கு அடுத்ததாய் எண்ணப்பட்டது.

4. 4சவுலின் குமாரன் யோனத்தானுக்கு இரண்டு காலும் முடமான ஒரு குமாரன் இருந்தான்; சவுலும் யோனத்தானும் மடிந்த செய்தி யெஸ்ரயேலிலிருந்து வருகிறபோது, அவன் ஐந்து வயதுள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது அவனுடையதாதி அவனை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஓடிப்போனாள்; அவள் ஓடிப்போகிற அவசரத்தில் அவன் விழுந்து முடவனானான்; அவனுக்கு மேவிபோசேத் என்று பேர்.
5. 5பேரோத்தியனான அந்த ரிம்மோனின் குமாரராகிய ரேகாபும் பானாவும் போய், இஸ்போசேத் மத்தியானத்திலே வெய்யில் நேரத்தில் படுக்கையின்மேல் சயனித்திருக்கும்போது அவன் வீட்டிற்குள் பிரவேசித்து,
