4. 23கர்த்தர் தமது கோபத்திலும் தமது உக்கிரத்திலும் சோதோமையும் கொமோராவையும் அத்மாவையும் செபோயீமையும் கவிழ்த்துப்போட்டதுபோல, இந்த தேசத்தின் நிலங்களெல்லாம் விதைப்பும் விளைவும் யாதொரு பூண்டின் முளைப்பும் இல்லாதபடிக்கு, கந்தகத்தாலும் உப்பாலும் எரிக்கப்பட்டதைக் காணும்போதும்,
5. 24அந்த ஜாதிகளெல்லாம் கர்த்தர் இந்த தேசத்திற்கு ஏன் இப்படிச் செய்தார்; இந்த மகா கோபம் பற்றியெரிந்ததற்குக் காரணம் என்ன என்று சொல்லுவார்கள்.
