4. 5அந்திப்பலி நேரத்திலே நான் துக்கத்தோடே எழுந்து, கிழித்துக்கொண்ட வஸ்திரத்தோடும் சால்வையோடும் முழங்காற்படியிட்டு, என் கைகளை என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரித்து:
5. 6என் தேவனே, நான் என் முகத்தை என் தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக ஏறெடுக்க வெட்கிக் கலங்குகிறேன்; எங்கள் அக்கிரமங்கள் எங்கள் தலைக்கு மேலாகப் பெருகிற்று; எங்கள் குற்றம் வானபரியந்தம் வளர்ந்துபோயிற்று.
