2. 19தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் வெளியின் சகலவித மிருகங்களையும், ஆகாயத்தின் சகலவிதப் பறவைகளையும் மண்ணினாலே உருவாக்கி, ஆதாம் அவைகளுக்கு என்னபேரிடுவான் என்று பார்க்கும்படி அவைகளை அவனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார். அந்தந்த ஜீவஜந்துக்கு ஆதாம் எந்தெந்தப் பேரிட்டானோ அதுவே அதற்குப் பேராயிற்று.

4. 21அப்பொழுது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஆதாமுக்கு அயர்ந்த நித்திரையை வரப்பண்ணினார், அவன் நித்திரையடைந்தான்; அவர் அவன் விலா எலும்புகளில் ஒன்றை எடுத்து, அந்த இடத்தைச் சதையினால் அடைத்தார்.
5. 22தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தாம் மனுஷனில் எடுத்த விலா எலும்பை மனுஷியாக உருவாக்கி, அவளை மனுஷனிடத்தில் கொண்டு வந்தார்.
