3. 9அப்படியே நான் நதிக்கு அப்புறத்திலிருக்கிற தேசாதிபதிகளிடத்துக்கு வந்து, ராஜாவின் கடிதங்களை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; ராஜா என்னோடேகூட இராணுவச் சேர்வைக்காரரையும், குதிரைவீரரையும் அனுப்பியிருந்தார்.
4. 10இதை ஓரோனியனான சன்பல்லாத்தும், அம்மோனியனான தொபியா என்னும் ஊழியக்காரனும் கேட்டபோது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நன்மையை விசாரிக்க ஒருவன் வந்தான் என்பது அவர்களுக்கு மிகவும் விசனமாயிருந்தது.
