Psalm 52 in Tamil

1. 1

   பலவானே, பொல்லாப்பில் ஏன் பெருமைபாராட்டுகிறாய்? தேவனுடைய கிருபை எந்நாளுமுள்ளது.

   To the chief Musician, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech. Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God [endureth] continually.

2. 2

   நீ கேடுகளைச் செய்ய எத்தனம்பண்ணுகிறாய், கபடுசெய்யும் உன் நாவு தீட்டப்பட்ட சவரகன் கத்தியைப்போல் இருக்கிறது.

   Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

3. 3

   நன்மையைப்பார்க்கிலும் தீமையையும், யதார்த்தம் பேசுகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் பொய்யையும் விரும்புகிறாய். (சேலா.)

   Thou lovest evil more than good; [and] lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

4. 4

   கபடமுள்ள நாவே, சங்கரிக்கும் சகல வார்த்தைகளையும் நீ விரும்புகிறாய்.

   Thou lovest all devouring words, O [thou] deceitful tongue.

5. 5

   தேவன் உன்னை என்றென்றைக்கும் இராதபடி அழித்துப்போடுவார்; அவர் உன்னைப் பிடித்து, உன் வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து பிடுங்கி, நீ ஜீவனுள்ளோர் தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு உன்னை நிர்மூலமாக்குவார். (சேலா.)

   God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of [thy] dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.

6. 6

   நீதிமான்கள் அதைக் கண்டு பயந்து, அவனைப்பார்த்து நகைத்து:

   The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

7. 7

   இதோ, தேவனைத் தன் பெலனாக எண்ணாமல், தன் செல்வப்பெருக்கத்தை நம்பி, தன் தீவினையில் பலத்துக்கொண்ட மனுஷன் இவன்தான் என்பார்கள்.

   Lo, [this is] the man [that] made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, [and] strengthened himself in his wickedness.

8. 8

   நானோ தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் பச்சையான ஒலிவமரத்தைப்போலிருக்கிறேன், தேவனுடைய கிருபையை என்றென்றைக்கும் நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.

   But I [am] like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

9. 9

   நீரே இதைச் செய்தீர் என்று உம்மை என்றென்றைக்கும் துதித்து, உமது நாமத்திற்குக் காத்திருப்பேன்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு முன்பாக அது நலமாயிருக்கிறது. (மகலாத் என்னும் வாத்தியத்தில் வாசிக்கப்படும்படி தாவீதினால் பாடப்பட்டு இராகத்தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட மஸ்கீல் என்னும் சங்கீதம்.)

   I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done [it:] and I will wait on thy name; for [it is] good before thy saints.
