Aur unhom ne un dootom se jo aae the kahaa, tum gilaad mem ke yaabesh ke logom se yom kaho, ki kal dhoop tej hone kee ghadee tak tum chhutakaaraa paaoge. Tab dootom ne jaakar yaabesh ke logom ko sandesh diyaa, aur ve aanandit hue.

King James Version (KJV): And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, To morrow, by [that time] the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed [it] to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.

11दूसरे दिन शाऊल ने लोगों के तीन दल किए; और उन्हों ने रात के पिछले पहर में छावनी के बीच में आकर अम्मोनियों को मारा; और घाम के कड़े होने के समय तक ऐसे मारते रहे कि जो बच निकले वह यहां तक तितर बितर हुए कि दो जन भी एक संग कहीं न रहे।
