4. 13परन्तु उस दल के पुरूष जिसे अमस्याह ने लौटा दिया कि वे उसके साथ युठ्ठ करने को न जाएं, शेमरोन से बेथेरोन तक यहूदा के सब नगरों पर टूट पड़े, और उनके तीन हजार निवासी मार डाले और बहुत लूट ले ली।
5. 14जब अमस्याह एदोनियों का संहार करके लौट आया, तब उस ने सेईरियों के देवताओं को ले आकर अपने देवता करके खड़ा किया, और उन्हीं के साम्हने दणडवत करने, और उन्हीं के लिये धूप जलाने लगा।
