1. 31तब हिजकिरयाह कहने लगा, अब तुम ने यहोवा के निमित्त अपना अर्पण किया है; इसलिये समीप आकर यहोवा के भवन में मेलबलि और धन्यवादबलि पहुंचाओ। तब मण्डली के लोगों ने मेलबलि और धन्यवादबलि पहुंचा दिए, और जितने अपनी इच्छा से देना चाहते थे उन्हों ने भी होमबलि पहुंचाए।
2. 32जो होमबलि पशु मण्डली के लाग ले आए, उनकी गिनती यह थी; सत्तर बैल, एक सौ मेढ़े, और दो सौ भेड़ के बच्चे; ये सब यहोवा के निमित्त होमबलि के काम में आए।
3. 33और पवित्रा किए हुए पशु, छे सौ बैल और तीन हजार भेड़- बकरियां थी।
4. 34परन्तु याजक ऐसे थेड़े थे, कि वे सब होमबलि पशुओं की खालें न उतार सके, तब उनके भाई लेवीय उस समय तक उनकी सहायता करते रहे जब तक वह काम निपट न गया, और याजकों ने अपने को पवित्रा न किया; क्योंकि लेवीय अपने को पवित्रा करने के लिये पवित्रा याजकों से अधिक सीधे मन के थे।
5. 35और फिर होमबलि पशु बहुत थे, और मेलबलि पशुओं की चब भी बहुत थी, और एक एक होमबलि के साथ अर्ध भी देना पड़ा। यों यहोवा के भवन में की उपासना ठीक की गई।
