तू ने जो वचन मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था, उसका तू ने पालन किया है; जैसा तू ने अपने मुंह से कहा था, वैसा ही अपने हाथ से उसको हमारी आंखों के साम्हने पूरा भी किया है।
Too ne jo vachan mere pitaa daaood ko diyaa thaa, usakaa too ne paalan kiyaa hai; jaisaa too ne apane munh se kahaa thaa, vaisaa hee apane haath se usako hamaaree aankhom ke saamhane pooraa bhee kiyaa hai.

- 16इसलिये अब हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा इस वचन को भी पूरा कर, जो तू ने अपने दास मेरे पिता दाऊद को दिया था, कि तेरे कुल में मेरे साम्हने इस्राएल की गद्दी पर विराजने वाले सदा बने रहेंगे, यह हो कि जैसे तू अपने को मेरे सम्मुख जानकर चलता रहा, वैसे ही तेरे वंश के लोग अपनी चाल चलन में ऐसी चौकसी करें, कि मेरी व्यवस्था पर चलें।
- 17अब हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा जो वचन तू ने अपने दास दाऊद को दिया था, वह सच्चा किया जाए।
