उस ने कहा, हे मेरे प्रभु, हे राजा, मेरे कर्मचारी ने मुझे धोखा दिया था; तेरा दास जो पंगु है; इसलिये तेरे दास ने सोचा, कि मैं गदहे पर काठी कसवाकर उस पर चढ़ राजा के साथ चला जाऊंगा।

Us ne kahaa, he mere prabhu, he raajaa, mere karmachaaree ne mujhe dhokhaa diyaa thaa; teraa daas jo pangu hai; isaliye tere daas ne sochaa, ki maim gadahe par kaathee kasavaakar us par chadh raajaa ke saath chalaa jaaoongaa.

27और मेरे कर्मचारी ने मेरे प्रभु राजा के साम्हने मेरी चुगली खाई। परन्तु मेरा प्रभु राजा परमेश्वर के दूत के समान है; और जो कुछ तुझे भाए वही कर।
28मेरे पिता का समस्त घराना तेरी ओर से प्राण दणड के योग्य था; परन्तु तू ने अपने दास को अपनी मेज पर खानेवालों में गिना है। मुझे क्या हक है कि मैं राजा की ओर दोहाई दूं?
