Aur vah sab israaelee gotrom mem hokar aabel aur betamaakaa aur beriyom ke desh tak pahunchaa; aur ve bhee ikatthe hokar usake peechhe ho lie.

- 15तब उन्हों ने उसको बेतमाका के आबेल में घेर लिया; और नगर के साम्हने ऐसा दमदमा बान्धा कि वह शहरपनाह से सट गया; और योआब के संग के सब लोग शहरपनाह को गिराने के लिये धक्का देने लगे।
- 16तब एक बुध्दिमान रूत्री ने नगर में से पुकारा, सुनो! सुनो! योआब से कहो, कि यहां आए, ताकि मैं उस से कुछ बातें करूं।
