फिर प्रधानों ने उन से कहा, वे जीवित छोड़े जाएं। सो प्रधानों के इस वचन के अनुसार वे सारी मण्डली के लिये लकड़हारे और पानी भरनेवाले बने।
Phir pradhaanom ne un se kahaa, ve jeevit chhode jaaen. So pradhaanom ke is vachan ke anusaar ve saaree mandalee ke liye lakadahaare aur paanee bharanevaale bane.

- 23इसलिये अब तुम शापित हो, और तुम में से ऐसा कोई न रहेगा जो दास, अर्थात् मेरे परमेश्वर के भवन के लिये लकड़हारा और पानी भरनेवाला न हो।
