2. 18ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯ ನಾದ ನೀನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ಅದೋನೀಯನು ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
3. 19ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಬಹಳ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನನ್ನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
4. 20ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಾ ರೆಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
5. 21ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೂ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೇವು ಅಂದಳು.
