ಈ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವತಿಯಾದ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿ ಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಳು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.

- 3ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವತಿಯಾದ ಹುಡುಗಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಡುಕಿ ಶೂನೇಮ್‌ಳಾದ ಅಬೀಷಗ್‌ಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರತಂದರು.
- 4ಈ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವತಿಯಾದ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿ ಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಳು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.
- 5ಆಗ ಹಗ್ಗೀತಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಅದೋನೀಯನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು--ನಾನೇ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಾಹುತ ರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಓಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದನು.
- 6ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯು ಎಂದಾದರೂ--ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಬಹು ರೂಪವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
