ಸಿಂಹವು ಹೆಣ ವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ ಹಾಕದೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ವೃದ್ಧನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಗೋಳಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು.

29ಸಿಂಹವು ಹೆಣ ವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ ಹಾಕದೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ವೃದ್ಧನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಗೋಳಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು.
30ಅವನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಾ ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು--ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಾ ಡಿದರು.
31ಅವನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಸತ್ತಾಗ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಿರಿ.
