ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ಅಹಾಬನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ನಾನೇನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದೆನು.

- 7ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು. ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮೊರೆ ಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಯನಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಇವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ, ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
- 9ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ಅಹಾಬನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ನಾನೇನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
- 10ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಕಳುಹಿಸದ ಜನಾಂಗವೂ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ಒಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು--ಅವನು ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದಾಗ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ ಆಣೆ ಇಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
- 11ಈಗ ನೀನು--ಇಗೋ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ
