ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ತಿನ್ನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
Tirigi eradaneya saari kartana dootanu bandu avanannu tatti avanige--neeneddu tinnu; yaakandare prayaanavu ninage hechchaagide andanu.

- 6ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಕೆಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯೂ ಒಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆ ನೀರೂ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡನು.
- 7ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ತಿನ್ನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಆಗ ಅವನೆದ್ದು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದು ಆ ಭೋಜನದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿವಸ ಹಗಲೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಹೋರೇಬ ಎಂಬ ದೇವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ವರೆಗೂ ನಡೆದನು.
- 9ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಗವಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಎಲೀಯನೇ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿ ಅಂದನು.
