1. 6ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು; ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ರಮ್ಯ ವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು ಅಂದನು.
2. 7ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ದೇಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆಇವನು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡು ನೋಡಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರವೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
3. 8ಆಗ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಜನರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅವನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳದೆ ಒಪ್ಪದೆ ಇರು ಅಂದರು.? ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಬೆನ್ಹದದನ ದೂತ ರಿಗೆ--
4. 9ನೀವು ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ನೀನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾಡಕೂಡದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ದೂತರು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
5. 10ಆಗ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರು ಕೈತುಂಬ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಧೂಳು ಸಾಕಾದರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆಯೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
