ನಾಬೋ ತನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳು ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಇಜ್ರೇಲ್ಯ ನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನು ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸ ದಿದ್ದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾಬೋತನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸತ್ತಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

King James Version (KJV): And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.

13ಆಗ ಬೆಲಿಯಾಳನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಂಡರು; ಈ ಬೆಲಿಯಾಳನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಜನರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಬೋತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ--ಈ ನಾಬೋತನು ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ದೂಷಿಸಿದ ನೆಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದರು. ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
14ಅವರು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳಿಗೆ--ನಾಬೋತನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಸತ್ತನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
15ನಾಬೋ ತನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳು ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಇಜ್ರೇಲ್ಯ ನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನು ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸ ದಿದ್ದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾಬೋತನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸತ್ತಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.
16ನಾಬೋತನು ಸತ್ತನೆಂದು ಅಹಾ ಬನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನೆದ್ದು ಇಜ್ರೇಲ್ಯನಾದ ನಾಬೋ ತನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋದನು.
17ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ತಿಷ್ಬೀಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಯ ನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು--
