ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತೆನು. ನಾನು ಹೆತ್ತ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಈ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಕೂಡ ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ನಾವು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಕೂಡಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೆವು.
Naanu avala sangada maneyalliruvaaga maguvannu hettenu. Naanu hetta mooru divasagala taruvaaya ee hengasu kooda hettalu. Naavu ibbaroo koodiye iddevu.

- 19ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಹೊರತು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮತ್ತಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅವಳು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹೆಂಗಸಿನ ಮಗುವು ಸತ್ತು ಹೋಯಿತು.
- 20ಇವಳು ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯು ನಿದ್ರೆ ಗೈಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನ ಮಗ ನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಎದೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಸತ್ತ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಎದೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿಸಿದಳು.
