ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾದ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಪೊಂತ ಗಲಾತ್ಯ ಕಪ್ಪದೋಕ್ಯ ಆಸ್ಯ ಬಿಥೊನ್ಯ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚದರಿರುವ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿ ವಿಧೇಯರಾ ಗುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್‌ ಜ್ಞಾನಾನು ಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯಲಿ.
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವಾತನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ. ಆತನು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾ ಕರುಣಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಜೀವಕರವಾದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೂ
Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
ಲಯ ಕಳಂಕ ಕ್ಷಯಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
ಅಂತ್ಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
ನೀವು ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನಾ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
ಭಂಗಾರವು ನಾಶವಾಗುವಂಥದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸುವದುಂಟಷ್ಟೆ. ಭಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಬಹು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಈ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿತವಾಗಿ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗುವಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವಮಾನ ಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವದು.
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
ನೀವು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ; ನೀವು ಈಗ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಾಣದಿದ್ದರೂ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಲಶಕ್ಯವಾದಂಥ ಪ್ರಭಾವವುಳ್ಳ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಫಲವಾಗಿರುವ ಆತ್ಮಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls.
ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you:
ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಬಾಧೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನೂ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆತನು ಯಾವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಂಥ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದವರು ಈಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವಂಥ ಮತ್ತು ದೂತರು ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವಂಥ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು.
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ನಡುವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಾಗುವಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ದೊರಕುವ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೀರಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೆ ಇಡಿರಿ.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
ನೀವು ಮುಂಚೆ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಿಮಗಿದ್ದ ದುರಾಶೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನು ನಡೆಯುವವರಾಗಿರದೆ
As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾತನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನೀವೂ ವಿಧೇಯರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
ನಾನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನೀವೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತ ವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡುವಾತನನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಂದೆ ಯೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಭಯದಿಂದ ಕಳೆಯಿರಿ.
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear:
ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ಗಳಿಂದ ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದದ್ದು ನಶಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲ್ಲ;
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;
ಆದರೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಂಗವಾದ ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯ ರಕ್ತ ದಿಂದಲೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದಲೇ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಲ್ಲವೇ.
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
ಆತನು ಜಗದುತ್ಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಈ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದನು.
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
ಹೀಗಿರ ಲಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವಂತೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಆತನ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಟ್ಟವರಾದಿರಷ್ಟೆ.
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
ನೀವು ಆತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕ ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿಷ್ಕಪಟ ವಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಸ್ನೇಹವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಹೀಗಿರ ಲಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ.
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:
ೀವು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ; ಆ ಜನ್ಮವು ನಾಶವಾಗುವ ಬೀಜದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ನಾಶವಾಗದ ಬೀಜ ದಿಂದಲೇ ಉಂಟಾದದ್ದು ಅದು ದೇವರ ಸದಾ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
ನರಜಾತಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗಿದೆ. ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹೂವಿನಂತಿದೆ. ಹುಲ್ಲು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗುವದು, ಅದರ ಹೂವು ಉದುರಿ ಹೋಗು ವದು;ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತೋ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರು ವದು. ಅದು ಯಾವದಂದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸುವಾರ್ತಾವಾಕ್ಯವೇ.
For all flesh [is] as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತೋ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರು ವದು. ಅದು ಯಾವದಂದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸುವಾರ್ತಾವಾಕ್ಯವೇ.
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
