ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಸಹ ಆತನಿಗಿದ್ದ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಶರೀರ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟವನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
ಹೀಗೆ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಿತಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ದುರಾಶೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬದುಕದೆ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬದುಕುವನು.
That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
ಬಂಡುತನ ದುರಾಶೆ ಕುಡಿಕತನ ದುಂದೌತನ ಮದ್ಯಪಾನಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಾರಾಧನೆ ಗಳು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಿತ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಕಾಲವೇ ಸಾಕು.
For the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
ತಾವು ಮಾಡುವ ಅಪರಿಮಿತವಾದ ಪಟಿಂಗತನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]:
ಅವರು ಬದುಕುವ ವರಿಗೂ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧ ವಾಗಿರುವಾತನಿಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು.
Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಸತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆ ಸಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರ್ರಿ.
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಗಿಲಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿರಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟದೆ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಅತಿಥಿ ಸತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ದೇವರ ವಿವಿಧ ಕೃಪೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತಾನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ವರವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲಿ.
As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬೋಧಿಸು ವವನಾದರೆ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವವನಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಲಿ. ಒಬ್ಬನು ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಾದರೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವದು. ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವೂ ಆಧಿಪತ್ಯವೂ
If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God; if any man minister, [let him do it] as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಯಂತಿರುವ ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡ ಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅಪೂರ್ವವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿ ತೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಬಾಧೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದರೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿ ದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ. ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ದೂಷಿಸ ಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy [are ye]; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರನು ಕಳ್ಳನು ದುಷ್ಟನು ಪರರಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಹಾಕುವವನು ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನನುಭವಿಸ ಬಾರದು.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or [as] a thief, or [as] an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತನಾಗಿ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡದೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಲಿ.
Yet if [any man suffer] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗತಕ್ಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಸಮಯವು ಬಂದದೆ; ಅದು ಮೊದಲು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದರೆ ದೇವರ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದವರ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಏನಾಗಿರುವದು?
For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?
ನೀತಿವಂತನೇ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಹೊಂದುವದು ಕಷ್ಟವಾದರೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನನೂ ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲುವದು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರ ಬಾಧೆಪಡು ವವರು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾದ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿ.
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರ ಬಾಧೆಪಡು ವವರು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾದ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿ.
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls [to him] in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
