2. 18ಆಗ ಸೌಲನು ಅಹೀಯನಿಗೆ -- ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
3. 19ಸೌಲನು ಯಾಜಕನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತಾನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದಂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗದ್ದಲವು ಅಧಿಕವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಇದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸೌಲನು ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
4. 20ಆಗ ಸೌಲನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಕೊಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೋಲು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
