ಆಗ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಶೂನೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿ ಳಿದರು. ಸೌಲನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಗಿಲ್ಬೋವದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದನು.

- 4ಆಗ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಶೂನೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿ ಳಿದರು. ಸೌಲನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಗಿಲ್ಬೋವದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದನು.
- 5ಆದರೆ ಸೌಲನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದಂಡನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಭಯ ಪಟ್ಟನು; ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಬಹಳ ಹೆದರಿತು.
- 6ಸೌಲನು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಪ್ನಗ ಳಿಂದಲಾದರೂ ಊರೀಮಿನಿಂದಲಾದರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳಿಂದಲಾದರೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
