ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅರಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂಥ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇರದಂಥ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

- 11ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ--ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದಲೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಕೇಳದೆ ನಾನು ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ ಆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
- 12ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅರಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂಥ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇರದಂಥ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
- 13ತರುವಾಯ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಆಳಿದನು.
- 14ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಾಹುತರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನ ರಥಗಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ನಾನೂರು ರಾಹುತರು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ, ಇವರನ್ನು ರಥದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.
