ಮಾರನೇ ದಿವಸ ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದು ರಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿರಿ. ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ಹಚ್ಚೀಚು ಎಂಬ ಕಣಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಯೆರೂವೇಲಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಳ್ಳದ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
Maarane divasa neevu avarige edu raagi hogiri. Igo, avaru hachcheechu emba kaniveyinda baruttaare; yeroovelina aranyada mumbhaagadalliruva hallada antyadalli avarannu kandukolluviri.

- 17ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀವು ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೂದದವರೇ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವರೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಮಾರನೇ ದಿವಸ ಅವರೆದುರಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 18ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋ ಷಾಫಾಟನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಗಿಸಿದನು; ಯೆಹೂದದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಆರಾ ಧಿಸಿದರು.
