ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಕಾಲ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಡೆದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದದ ರಿಂದ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷ ಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಆಗ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಎದ್ದು ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಶಬ್ದವು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ನಿವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.

24ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
25ಯೆಹೂದದ ಸಭೆಯವರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಪರದೇಶಿಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವರೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.
