ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಐದು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವೂ ಐದು ಮೊಳ ಅಗಲವೂ ಮೂರು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಒಂದು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅಂಗಳದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿ ತಾನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ--

14ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಾ ದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿ.
15ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದಂಥ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಇಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದಿ.
