1. 14ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಯಾಜಕರ ಸರದಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿವಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಸೇವೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸರದಿಗಳಾಗಿ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
2. 15ಅವರು ಯಾವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಾ ದರೂ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಅರಸನು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿದ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
3. 16ಆದರೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಕೆಲಸವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದ ದಿವಸದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.
4. 17ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಎದೋಮ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ಗೆಬೆರಿಗೂ ಏಲೋ ತಿಗೂ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.ಹೂರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಡಗುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತಿಳಿದ ವರಾದ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಓಫೀರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ನಾನೂರೈವತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ತೂಕ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.
