ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿ ಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡದೆ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆದನು.
Avanu kartana sammukhadalli kettaddannu maadi israayelyarannu paapamaadalu prerepi sida nebaatana maganaada yaarobbaamana ellaa paapagalannu toredubidade avugalalle nadedanu.

- 13ಯೆಹೋವಾ ಷನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಅವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು.
