ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾ ಷನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯೆಹೋ ವಾಹಾಜನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನ ಕೈ ಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು. ಯೋವಾಷನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.
Aaga yehovaahaajana maganaada yovaa shanu yuddhadalli tanna tandeyaada yeho vaahaajana kaiyinda hajaayelanu takkondidda pattanagalannu avana maganaada benhadadana kai yinda tirigi takkondanu. Yovaashanu avanannu mooru saari hodedu israayelina pattana galannu tirigi takkondanu.
