2. 10ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚರನ ಸೇವಕರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
3. 11ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು; ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
4. 12ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನೂ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯೂ ಸೇವ ಕರೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯರೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಎಂಟನೇ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದನು.
5. 13ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
