ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ--ಈ ಪತ್ರ ನಿನಗೆ ಸೇರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನಾಮಾ ನನಿಗಿರುವ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗವನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬದು.

4ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
5ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾ; ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಹತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತು ದುಸ್ತು ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
6ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ--ಈ ಪತ್ರ ನಿನಗೆ ಸೇರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನಾಮಾ ನನಿಗಿರುವ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗವನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬದು.
7ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ಆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಓದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು--ಕೊಲ್ಲು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಬದುಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ದೇವರೋ? ಇವನ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನು? ಇವನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಜಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಹುಡುಕುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
8ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ಕೊಂಡನೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಷನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡ ದ್ದೇನು? ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
