ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಹಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಆಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.

- 27ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಅಳಿಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
