ಅದಕ್ಕವನುಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿರುವ ತಿಷ್ಬೀಯನಾದ ಎಲೀ ಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಇದೇ--ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಿಗಳು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವು.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದೇ ಈಜೆ ಬೆಲಳೆಂದು ಹೇಳಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಪಾಲಿನ ಹೊಲದ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳ ಹೆಣ ಗೊಬ್ಬರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವದು ಎಂಬದೇ.

King James Version (KJV): Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This [is] the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
