ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಾಮಾರಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
Aaga daaveedanu tanna maneyalliruva taamaarala balige manushyanannu kaluhisi--neenu ninna sahodaranaada amnonana manege hogi avanige adigeyannu maadu andanu.

- 6ಅವನು ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರೋಗಿಷ್ಟನ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಲಗಿದನು. ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳು ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಮುಂದೆ ಎರಡು ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 7ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಾಮಾರಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವಳು ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಂದೆ ಹಿಸಿಕಿ ನಾದಿ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಳು.
- 9ಆದರೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು--ನಾನು ಉಣ್ಣುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
