ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾ ಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು.

13ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು--ದೇವರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅಂಥಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೆನೆಸು ವದೇನು? ಅರಸನು ತಾನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಸ್ಥನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
14ನಾವು ಸಾಯುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವೇ. ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡದ ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡುವಾತನಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಾತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
15ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾ ಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು.
16ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಯಾನು. ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ದೇವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ದಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
17ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯು--ಅರಸ ನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಮಾತು ಆದರಣೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನೂ ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ದೇವದೂತನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.
