ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಗಿತ್ತೀಯನಾದ ಇತ್ತೈಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನಾದ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶದವನು.
Aaga arasanu gitteeyanaada ittaiyannu nodi--neenu namma sangada baruvadu yaake? Ninna sthalakke hindirugi hogi arasana sangada iru. Yaakandare neenu serehidiyalpattavanaada anyadeshadavanu.

- 20ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನೆ ಬಂದವನಾದದ ರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಾಡಿಸುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು; ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 21ಆದರೆ ಇತ್ತೈಯು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವ ದಾಣೆ, ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ--ಸಾವಾದರೂ ಬದುಕುವದಾದರೂ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವನೋ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಇರುವನು ಅಂದನು.
