ಇವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪೌಲನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಆಯಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಗ್ರೀಕನೆಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
