1. 12ಆಗ ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಸಭೆಯವ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ಕೈಸರನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ, ನೀನು ಕೈಸರನ ಬಳಿಗೇ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

4. 15ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
5. 16ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಆ ಆಪಾದಿತನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಪಾದನೆ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿ ಯಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆಪಾದನೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತನಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನನ್ನೂ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವದು ರೋಮ್‌ನವರ
