ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನೇ, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ದಿವಸ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಧನ್ಯನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

1ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಆಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ತನಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾ--

4ನಾನು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಜನಾಂಗದವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಬದುಕಿದ ವಿಧಾನವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆ.
