ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯರ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಅಶ್ವೆವಜನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಸಂತಾನದೊಳ ಗಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ

- 4ಕಳಂಕ ಇಲ್ಲ ದವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸುಂದರರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಕಲ ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೀಣರಾಗಿಯೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣರಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ತಂದು ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನೂ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
- 5ಅರಸನು ರಾಜ ಭೋಜನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಾನು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ನೇಮಿ ಸಿದನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಮೂರು ವರುಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಪೋಷಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕವರಾಗುವರು.
