ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಬೀದಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ದಿಬ್ಬವಾಗಬೇಕು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬಾರದು.

- 16ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಬೀದಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ದಿಬ್ಬವಾಗಬೇಕು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬಾರದು.
- 17ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿ ಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.
- 18ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.
