So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

2. 4ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
3. 5ಅಂಥ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುವವನ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು; ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ದಾಸತ್ವದ ಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ತಿರುಗುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
4. 6ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಗನಾಗಲಿ ಮಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದಂತೆ ನಿನಗಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ನಾಗಲಿ ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳೂ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು
